taught by me
In addition to being the founder of Art Smart Creative, I have been teaching art to preschoolers in a variety of studio and classroom settings since 2002, with a background in emergent early childhood and Montessori primary classrooms.
I have witnessed that when taking time to create a self portrait together, we learn about ourselves, each other, and the world as a whole, making us more empathetic, compassionate, and aware human beings.
Self portraits reveal to us our capacity for joy, our detailed human quirks, and our expansive connection to ourselves and our world.
I am confident that through this unique and valuable staff training, you will strengthen your teaching practice and find new delights in yourselves and your students, while developing a new skill and building a lifelong love of creativity through a simple and fun self portrait.
